Incorrect disk space
-
Hello. Where is 27GB? I did expand file system in raspi-config menu. Gparted showing correct size. Can anyone help me?
-
From man:df:
‘-h’
‘--human-readable’
Append a size letter to each size, such as ‘M’ for mebibytes. Powers of 1024 are used, not 1000; ‘M’ stands for 1,048,576 bytes. This option is equivalent to --block-size=human-readable. Use the --si option if you prefer powers of 1000. -
@mitu From WinScp as root I can write above this limit. The Pi user does not have access to this space.
I can't use all the space as root because there are problems with Pi@retroPie - no avaiable free space
-
@krinasam That's because 5% of the filesystem's capacity is reserved to the
root
, so regular users cannot break the system by filling up the entire capacity of the disk.
You can usetunefs
to change this reservation, my advice would be to reserve about 8-10 G of space. -
@mitu Thank You very much for info👏
