      Hi guys,

      I am aware that the official build of Kodi supported by Retropie is 18. However I am very keen to get 19 up and running on my Retropie build.

      Please excuse my ignorance but is there a method to do this? I have searched hi and low and the only thing I found was a senior member here saying I could install via APT?

      Could someone provide some more detailed instructions?

      Thanks in advance,
      Xsy

        Kodi 19 is not available via apt in the current RetroPie version.
        It will probably be available in the Raspi OS 11 as a package (to be installed with apt), but right now RetroPie doesn't support the new release of RasPi OS.

          @mitu thanks for your reply.

          Do you when or if it will get the update to 19?

          Is the only solution for me at the moment to use berry boot to have both retropie and Librelec/OSMC to get Kodi 19?

            I don't know.

            If that works, why not ? Is there anything you need from Kodi 19 and it's not in Kodi 18 ?
