Low volume on analog video and audio cable

Hi guys,
I have a pi 3 with retropie installed and is working like a charm. When using the analog video and audio cable, the volume is really low and I only get sound through the tv and not the sound bar, like I do when using the HDMI cable. I also need to switch the red with the yellow, otherwise I get no video. I also can hear a low humm on the tv when using the analog cable.Any ideas?

Yeah, the switching of the red and yellow cables, the hum, and the low volume is normal, but I don't know about the sound bar problem.

Thanks for your quick reply! So is all that normal? Bummer... I wanted to use the analog because all my HDMI ports are taken. But the sound is so low with the analog... Guess I need an HDMI switcher or something.

@RetroPieNerd i am not sure which a/v cable you are using but the xbox 360 slim a/v cables are actually the correct colors. Well for me anyways.
