Pi Model or other hardware: Pi 4 4G
Power Supply used: (If using a Pi): Cana kit powersupply
      RetroPie Version Used (eg 3.6, 3.8.1, 4.1 - do not write latest):4.7.19
Built From: Pre made SD Image on RetroPie website
      USB Devices connected: One
      Controller used: Logictech F310
Error messages received: None just audio lag and half a battle swirl when entering combat for the first time works fine every time after.
      Verbose log (if relevant):
Guide used: (Mention if you followed a guide): Read through forums and did some research couldn't find anything.
File: (File with issue - with FULL path)
      Emulator: PSXRearmed
Attachment of config files: (PLEASE USE PASTEBIN.COM FOR LARGE LOGS)
How to replicate the problem: The audio issues happen only on the first battle then fine every time after that.

The audio sounds like its looping and I get half a battle swirl sometimes. I Tried with my current set up and a Pi 3 and a PlayStation classic so it seems like the issue may fall with just the emulation in general. I fired up my copy of FF7 on my Playstation 1 and it works like a charm. The odd part about it is its only on the first battle of every game startup. Other then this the game works great!

@refazeshot1 a general hint: lr-PSXrearmed is not the first choice (anymore): give "lr-duckstation" a try, awesome PSX-Emulator!

@sirhenrythe5th I love you. I had no idea another core was being developed for PSX as I know its hard to emulate this type of processor. I fired up a few games in they work great. I am surprised this isnt the default emulator.

            @refazeshot1 lr-duckstation ist pretty new ;)
Additional hint: to use your saves (memorycard) from lr-PSXrearmed you can change the save-type under "options" in Retroarch to *.srm ;)

@sirhenrythe5th Thanks!! One small issue is for whatever reason it won't read any of my multi disc games. I have them all in M3u format. When I load them it immediately crashes back to emulation station.

@refazeshot1 i dont have experineces with 3mu :/, i allways used *.PBP-files for MultiDisc-Games and they still work with duckstation.
Stay tuned, i am pretty sure someone here has an idea if *.3mu is supported or not.

@sirhenrythe5th Its look like it does support M3U files but not sure if it supports multi disc games in CHD format. Its looking like it wants a cue file. Ill stay tuned.

@sirhenrythe5th Got it! So it does supported it just not my file names. I changed them from CD1 back to CHD works like a charm.
