I own a Retropie that has run on a preprogrammed Sd card I bought on eBay. I installed some new games onto the console, and eventually the console crashed due to some sort of error installing one of the games. I have a plan on how I'm going to try and fix the console, and save all the content on the card. I'm going to copy all the games to my computer, and then reinstall the Retropie operating system on the SD card using the official Raspberry Pi writing program. Then, I will connect the Retropie to the internet, and transfer all the files I need, including themes, Bios, and the games over the internet.

Please let me know if my plan seems valid. I don't know much about Retropies, hence why I bought a preprogrammed card.

We have instructions on how to install and configure RetroPie at https://retropie.org.uk/docs/First-Installation/ and under the Getting Started section. Use that and you'll be fine.
