So I had an audio mixer error that would not let me play ANY games. The forums told me to update my RetroPie. So I did that. The update took two days and when it was over, I got my system back. However, now I lost ALL my MAME ROMS & the Emulator. I also lost ALL NEOGEO Games and ALL the ROMS as well. I paid a lot of money for this stuff, and now it is useless as far as I am concerned. Is there ANYONE who is involved with this company to reach out to me and help. Can you send me a new SD card? Do I need to purchase one? I hope it's offered as a discount. Least Retro Pie could do is put a disclaimer that if you update the software you will lose your games. And before we talk about backing up. I am not a linux user, just a gamer, so I could not figure out how to back up ANYTHING. SOOOOOO Frustrated!

RetroPie is not a sold product, in fact the license prohibits the sale of the RetroPie image - see here - not to mention the unlicensed ROMs you got with the image. We make RetroPie available as open source and it's free - this is outlined in the info message you get after updating RetroPie:

The RetroPie-Setup script and pre-made RetroPie SD card images are available to download for free from https://retropie.org.uk.
The pre-built RetroPie image includes software that has non commercial licences.Selling RetroPie images or including RetroPie with your commercial product is not allowed.
No copyrighted games are included with RetroPie.

Whoever sold you RetroPie/the setup you have is not affiliated with this site or the project and is a scammer. You should contact them and ask for support or your money back.
