Pi Zero 2 W Emulation Performance.
-
Hi there. I am deciding to buy a Pi Zero 2 W, to emulate games. So how does it perform? I mostly only care about neo geo, md, nes, snes, gbc, gba, ps1, n64. Thank you!

@chris-1 neo geo, md, nes, snes, gbc, gba sould be no problem to emulate (60 fps) , but on N64 some games may struggle like golden eye 007 (25 fps) But games like Super mario 64 run well, Ps1 should emulate fine.

@lucathebazooka Thanks so much for the reply. This is good news, the perfect pi IMHO.

Will Spyro the dragon run well? Or playable at least. Also how do I install a standalone ps1 emulator in Retropie? I hear standalone emulators run better than Retroarch ones.

@chris-1 Spyro runs well on my pi zero (original model) using the standalone pcsxrearmed so pi zero 2 should have no problem. In the case of PS1 emulation I think youre better off using the RetroArch version because it's more up to date. The pi zero 2 should have more than enough overhead to handle it.
