      I recently got my hands on a retropie build. It only has 3 systems with a handful of games each. I understand the concept of everything, but I'm not sure what to do at this point. Do I need to reformat and start fresh, just update or something else.

        @bbvbandit2 We don't support 3rd party images (see pinned topics), so to get support you will need to use the image from our website.

          @BuZz I'm confused. I didn't upload an image.

            @bbvbandit2 the 'image' is the file used for the Retroie installation, which is called an 'installation image' - see https://retropie.org.uk/download.

            As @BuZz mentioned, we only support the installation images from https://retropie.org.uk/download (our site), if you have a 3rd party installation then it's not supoprted here.

            Not sure if this is the case here, since you offer more details, but if you've purchased it from someone then it's not supported. If you're unsure, then install from scratch.

              @mitu yeah it wasn't purchased. I got it from junk to the dump. Not sure how to wipe and restart from scratch.

                @bbvbandit2 You just download the install 'image' and write it to the sdcard - it's explained in the docs.
