I recently got the NES30 controller for my Raspberry Pi3. I paired the controller through Bluetooth and configured the button layout. The configuration works fine for the N64 emulator and the RetroPie interface. Only the D-pad works for other emulators, and for some reason the A button is being confused with the start button. Any suggestions?

@BuZz Yeah, I'm able to get RetroPie to recognize the button inputs while using blue tooth, but now I'm having a separate issue. The button configuration that I set up has only works for the RetroPie interface and the N64 emulator. I've tried the NES, SNES, and Master Drive emulators. Only the D pad works for them.

you need to switch the 8bitdo hack mode and reconfigure in emulationstation. make sure you have powered on and paired in joystick mode (right shoulder + start)

@BuZz That did the trick, after I turned the 8bitdo hack mode to on in the Bluetooth menu. I thought I already had it switched to on. Thanks for the help.
