      Hello!

I want to start off with saying that i'm a complete beginner to coding, the farthest lengths i've gone is making my own Ark and Minecraft server...

My girlfriends birthday is soon and i thought as a birthday present i'd make her a retropie, so she can play retro games. I've made two in the past and they both were great.

I thought as an added detail i could make a cool background image which now leads me to my problem, how do you change the background image?

I've read guides on how to make custom themes but they all start right from the beginning until they have their theme, which i'm pretty sure i don't have time to learn right now.

I would love your guys' help.

      Thanks

@r3cho, what do you mean, the background image that is displayed when at the systems/carousel screen or in the system itself (where you see all the titles for that system), or the 'splash screen' upon booting the Pi?

        Those are all different screen-views/screens...

Hey, i decided on going for another approach and installing a theme, the Epic Noir theme.

          Thanks anyways! :-)
