I updated to 4.8 today and I am now unable to play any games let alone use my system

      Pi Model: 4B+
Power Supply used: Do not know the name of it. It has a switch to turn off the power
      RetroPie Version Used:4.8
Built From: (Pre made SD Image on Rasberry Imager
      Controller used: Playstation Classic Controller
Error messages received: Emulationstatuon has Crashed
Attachment of config files: I do not know how to do this. if you can tell me how to pull the config files from the Micro SD Card I will do so.

How to replicate the problem: Restart Emulationstation

This is not the only issue Everytime I turn on the Pi I have to reput back in my controller configs for all Controllers

And if I go into any settings I can no longer use the controller I just configed.

Looks like EmulationStation cannot save the input configuration - is your sdcard full ? Which image did you use to install RetroPie and what version was it ?

@jawsisra, have you checked your log files?

Can you SSH into your RetroPie from a separate computer and start ES from the terminal window on that computer?

As ES loads you can see in real-time in that SSH session any issues that ES might encounter as it is starting up before it gets to a point where it would display a video on your monitor or TV.
