Tracking reasons for Pi4 crashing

I am trying to play a particular game on RPi 4 (Retropie 4.8) which crashes randomly after about 10 mins. The display goes blank and shows no signal so I'm assuming the Pi stops working but still has power.
Is there a log somewhere that I can look up when I restart the Pi to try and work out what has gone on?
