I have a game I need to configure in MAME for it to display properly. I was told that after making the change in the service menu, I need to "...make sure Save nvram on exit is checked in misc." That was from another forum. I'm not seeing that anywhere, and I'm wondering how I can find that and turn it on.

Also, where does it generate the data file with the changes saved?

Saving nvram on exit should be the default for MAME, i wasn't even aware you could disable it. Maybe it depends on the version you are using ? The file location sure does.

@barbudreadmon You're right. I have found that it was saving the NVRAM file by default. And I found it in the folder for Mame 2010. I have also confirmed that if I back that up and put it into that folder at first boot, it does restore the game back to the settings I preconfigured. This is what I needed thanks!
