I started using RetroPie during the 2020 lockdowns, and I fell in love with it. I tinkered around with the system a lot, installing alternative front ends and the like. I was comfortably emulating up to Wii. I decided to repurpose that Raspberry Pi for something else, and emulate on other devices (like iPad.) So after about a year, I’ve comeback to RetroPie. I enabled boot from USB, and installed RetroPie on a WD 2tb SATA III m.2 drive. I know this drive works, because I’ve used it for other Pi projects recently. I installed a game, Super Mario Bros., and tried to boot it up. The game was unplayable because it had so many graphical glitches. Mario was flying around the screen, tears every few seconds, and audio distortions. I wanted to know if I am doing something wrong? How do I fix this?
