Are there any file readers in the repos?

Such as CBR, PDF, or other type readers?
Would be nice for viewing game manuals, guides and such.
I have a lot of these in digital format but not sure if they can be implemented in Emulation Station.
Cheers.

@Addison it is not a reader but there is libreoffice in RetroPie-Extras
it is sitting in the supplementary section.im sure if someone where to find a doc reader it should be easy to add it

If you're taking about the Debian repo, there is https://packages.debian.org/buster/mcomix
But don't ask me how to actually make it work with Retropie. I would consider using it myself but for now I am happy that I was able to get a simple text reader working.

Another option, not so practical, is to install the pixel desktop. I am using this solution as always have a keyboard/mouse connected to the Pi.

@windg This is the direction I went as well.
Simple text documents could use this approach: https://retropie.org.uk/forum/topic/33037/solved-good-cli-text-reader?_=1659071335138

@IanDaemon I actually tried to use the same method for an image viewer. The problem was that the ones I have tested needed an X11 system to work. And this is not available on a fresh installation. I wonder if and how it would work when the RPOS desktop is installed. But I'm not the one who will try it. Still have to finish some other projects. :)
Contributions to the project are always appreciated, so if you would like to support us with a donation you can do so here.
