      Hi all,

Firstly thanks for welcoming me to the group. I have spent the last 4 days on this - watching videos, reading etc but still can't get it working. I have set up Mame before on a PC but never on a pi with older versions of Mame.

I have a "Speed Buggy" arcade cabinet that I have installed a Pi3 with a ArcadeRGBJammapi to connect to the monitor..all good!...I have installed retro pie etc and have connected the controls via a Ultimarc Optipac (wheel and pedal are optical).

After following the guides I have readings for both the wheel and pedal but can't get them working in Mame. I am using Advancemame 1.4, #Mame2010 (for speed buggy - the only one that really works on pi) and Mame4all for Pole position (can't seem to get the English lang version working in 1.4.

I have done the input test (cat mouse) and get:
      Wheel mouse2
      Pedal mouse 3

In #advmame test (advm) I get:
      #Wheel Mouse 3 on the Y axis
      #Pedal Mouse 4 on the Y axis

I am struggling with how I get this working now in "#Retroarch" - under input it sees the #Opti-pac but I don't know how to configure the controls.

      In mame...I get the below:
When using tab to define the controls I get nothing
In #mame4all (pole position) the wheel works but is doing the accelerator!(but again no response when defining controls)
      In advancemame nothing

Any help would be appreciated - otherwise I think I may be up for a divorce!
