How to replicate the problem: Run Drastic

Good day everyone. I am noticing a significant amount of screen tearing with Drastic. (Yes my resolution for the pie is set too 720P) I can however fix this by bringing up the in game menu and quickly close it and it disappears. I decided to check dmesg and see the error "ERROR Async flips aren't allowed". I have a feeling the screen tearing is caused by the KMS driver causing some kind of conflict (Drastic works almost flawlessly on the PS Classic). I was just wondering is this wearing down the Pie? And is it safe to resume playing DS games? Cheers.
