Hi, I have another problem but cannot see any fixes.
I (stupidly) renamed the game ROMs on my USB stick using my PC, after they'd been played etc in retropie. Now many of them are showing twice, either with the same name or with the old and new name.

I've ensured they only exist once in the ROM/[emulator] folder (they do) and I have also deleted the file (or is it just metadata) from the file / change metadata / delete file option.

Next time it boots, they are all back there again.

Isnt there any kind of 'delete the library and star over' option?

      Thanks

Did you toggle the EmulationStation's option to Parse Gamelists only ?

If you've used the USB transfer method to copy your ROM files, then you'll have both ROMs on your sdcard - the method just copies the new ROMs. Delete the ROM files on you sdcard, not on your USB drive.
You can use the File Manager from the RetroPie system in EmulationStation to browse the ROMs folders and delete them or press Select in EmulationStation when have a game selected and you'll have the option to delete it.
