      When I try to install DraStic from the experimental packages I get the following error:

      Error running 'tar -xv -j -C
      /opt/retropie/emulators/drastic --strip-components 1' - returned 2

      Does anyone know what that means and how I can install the emulator?
      Thanks

        You're probably running an old version of Retropie and it tries to download drastic from an old URL. What version of RetroPie are you using, on which Pi model ?

          @mitu

          Raspberry Pi 3 Model B+ (2017)
          with
          Retropie Version 4.5.1 (Raspbian GNU/Linux 9.9)
          and
          Emulationstation V2.8.4RP

          Should I just update?

            Updating from your version is not going to work well, since your OS is (Raspbian) is too old.

            If you wish to upgrade, I'd suggest to back-up your games and configs and install the most recent RetroPie image, then restore your files. Updating RetroPie with your OS might work, but it's not an OS we're supporting anymore and you'll probably encounter some issues after the update.

              @mitu Thanks! I will try out to update and if it ruins everything, switch to a newer OS then.
