      Hi,

      Just bought one of the above. Was a bit frustrating setting it up - I kept getting this issue:

      *A start job is running for Load Kernel modules

      Cannot open access to console, the root account is locked
      See SU login(8) manpage*

      I'm an absolute newbie when it comes to programming, but I had a bash with the help of this forum to try and fix it - to no avail.

      It was really weird, Retropie, and indeed just the regular OS wouldn't get past the above error in the case, but when I took it out of the case and used it 'naked,' both worked fine.

      After about 3 hours, I disconnected the top USB (the one that connects to the top of the case, where you can add an SSD)....
      and it worked fine!

      Maybe this will help someone... Or can someone explain why this was? I didn't think you had to have a SSD drive in and none of the tutorials mention this.
