Hi, I downloaded the 50 games available on a*****.org and they all work on Retropie, apart from Action Max which crashes and returns to the main menu, how can I fix? I just renamed the ACTIONMAX folder to ACTIONMAX.DAPHNE like all other games, THANK YOU

@saku00 hi. Need more info on your system. Some Hypseus games are for the 2.0 version that will not work on Pi3's. Some are made by fans and might need other files to work. Is the associated framefile name correctly, does it have the correct info in it...is it even there?

So, to answer your question properly, please follow the system request format and post your specs. It does make a difference with Daphne/Hypseus.

@saku00 ActionMax needs a different setup that is a little tricky. Take a look at this...

            https://github.com/DirtBagXon/actionmax-pi

Also, read through this thread. The user had the same issue that you are describing.

            https://github.com/DirtBagXon/hypseus_singe_data/discussions/5

It's not a RetroPie issue, it has more to do with the game setup in your build so it can be read in the menu, then properly started by Daphne/Hypseus.

Hopefully that gets you in the right direction.

My problem is that following all the steps from the ActionMax-Pi Github after installing Hypseus and Daphne, I find myself the ActionMax connection in the 38ambushalley.daphne folder and in the directory path I don't see the ActionMax connection but directly the name of the game. where is I wrong ??? The other HYPSEUS games all start only ActionMax games do not start

              Script /home/pi/RetroPie/roms/daphne/38ambushalley.daphne/38ambushalley.singe does not exist.
Bad command line or initialization problem (see daphne_log.txt for details).
To run SINGE, you must specify which script to run.

              e.g. singe myscript.singe

              dapnhe_log.txt

this is the log file, extrapolated, it tells me it can't find the script

I solved the problem, I uninstalled everything and deleted all the folders, I can tell you my problem is that I had created the "name game".daphne folders in the daphne folder, instead the folders are not created, following the correct procedure they are created through soft links and everything worked again. trial
