@challenger2010 I don't mind having the RetroPie menu and maybe even other emulators, but I'd like to power up the Raspberry Pi and go directly to the MAME games list. So, it's impossible? Or at least not so easy to accomplish? :S

I read somewhere from the authors of Emulationstation, that it is not possible. I have tried everything I found on the web and nothing worked.

@challenger2010 That's a pity. Should I mark this thread as "solved" then?

It's not a pity. I got mine set up to play an intro video, then it goes to a picture that says "Arcade" which is my list of games. It's just a matter of time for me to figure out how to make a vectorized picture that gives directions instead and then says "hit a button to continue". Kind of using its framework to get a good solution.

              What about using Attract Mode?

                That's a great option too.

@challenger2010 I said a "it's a pity" because it seems that there's no easy way to do that. From what you're telling me it took you a lot of effort and time to accomplish what you did.
Could you explain the steps of your process? So maybe other people could benefit from it :)

I want to do the same, why we cant do this? There is a reason for that?

I only like mame games dont interested in other emolators.

Attract Mode is the best option. It does all that is needed and can be made to look like a Mame frontend. Lots more documentation on it.
