GitHub suddenly word-wrapping

It has just started doing this today, or very recently. Did I set a setting or has GitHub changed it on their end? Can I turn it off (go back to the old way where each line is 1 line and scrolls to the right if it's wider than 1 screen)?

I don't think this is a general thing - you sure haven't installed any browser extension/plugin that may cause this ? Does it happen with every browser ?

Safari on iPod Touch (above) and Firefox, both mobile and here on PC:

Can't reproduce it with Firefox (latest stable) on either PC or Linux. Maybe there's some A/B test for changes and the modifications are not shown to all users.

@sleve_mcdichael @mitu at least on my PC (Windows 10) with Firefox 108.0.1 (loged into my account) and Vivaldi 5.6.2867.46 (not loged in) it is word-wrapping if I shrink the browser windows width (just a quick test here RetroPie-setup/archivefunctions.sh) and I am sure that I haven't changed any settings on my git account. Will test it later on my Ubuntu and Raspberry OS Systems.

Hm, I expect this to be normal - why would it be a problem ?

@mitu not for me, but as @sleve_mcdichael asked about the possibility to revert it to the old behaviour (scrollbar left/right), I guess for some it may be - I guess that especially on mobile devices it can become a PITA with all those extra lines.

Yes, exactly this. I do most of my browsing on mobile and these extra lines just really threw me off last night. I suppose I'll get used to it soon enough if it's to stick around...
