      Hi,

I've update retropie-setup script and update core (manage packages/update all installed core packages).
When i launch emulation station i've a black screen (before we seen the emulators scan).
      If i watch runcommand /dev/shm/, i have'nt runcommand.log

      Any suggestions ?

      Regards

What's in the EmulationStation's log file ($HOME/.emulationstation/es_log.txt) ? Post the beginning of the file, the first 10 lines.

Sorry, next time i don't forget to give all info (hardware, OS, ...)

The problem is solved by itself...i don't know why.
(perhaps, it's a screen issue... this morning i tried to launch with a remote connection (dwservice).
The screen resolution isn't the same... When i back to home, i try to launch the PC, and all is ok...

Here is my log (i've got a lot of errors like the last line i paste here (1 per emulator)

edit : it's a screen problem ! If my TV is off, the games doesn't launch and block on a black screen.
If i launch with tv on, all is OK... Strange isn't it ??

@mozvillat Try setting the pi to always output 1080P in the configs. if not the pi will try and sync with your TV and if it chooses a video mode that your TV doesn't work with well, you may run into issues. Had a similar issue on my TV, that if i didn't have the right input selected on my HDMI switch, i would just get no video. Same on another TV where had no audio, because the Pi would always sync as a DVI device.

Their system is not a Pi, it's a PC.
