      Greetings everyone!,

      theres a problem that drives me nuts right now:
      Retroarch: 1.12.0 Raspi 4B

      I use Gambatte for Gameboy and Gameboy Color games and need a different shader for each Console. So i thought the setting "save shader preset by game directory" would help me but all it does is Saves a Roms.glslp in configs\all\retroarch\config\Gambatte\ wich then is again used globaly for both consoles and not per Game directory.

      Is there a way i can force a shader via the retroarch.cfg in each config directory?

        @Mangaclub you can set per-system shaders via the configuration editor:

        https://retropie.org.uk/docs/Configuration-Editor/

        This will add a line like:

        video_shader = /path/to/shader.glsl

        ...to your system config (example /opt/retropie/configs/gbc/retroarch.cfg). Alternatively, you could just add this line manually with a text editor, without using the configuration tool.

          @Mangaclub you can either use the config. editor - as @sleve_mcdichael mentioned - or save the shader preset for Content Directory in RetroArch's menu.
          Make sure you don't have already a core preset saved, otherwise it won't work.

            Many thanks! that helped!

            the whole problems started becasue i am too tidy and have my Roms organized in each console in a seperate "Roms" folder. Now this tihngs makes sense to me.
