Bezel Project and No-Intro Titles
-
Hello, I have a retropie arcade build that also has some old console ROMs on it that I like playing with my arcade controls. Lately, I'm noticing that some of my bezels are not working. I'd been under the impression that the Bezels were named after the "No-Intro" titles of the ROMs, so I wrote a little bash script that ensured my games had the latest names to match those titles according to some of the uploads of "No-Intro" romsets I found on archive.
What I'm finding after running another script is that a TON of the Bezels are not matching the No-Intro titles of the roms, and worse yet, some of the configs in /configs/all/retroarch/overlay/GameBezels/*console_name and /configs/all/retroarch/config/*core_folder either don't match or are pointing to files with the corresponding .cfg that don't actually exist.
I'm wondering if anyone knows if there is a support portal, forum or message board that I can leave a comment on to inform the owners/creators of the Bezel Project to inform them of this issue and notify them of what ROMs I've specifically found that have issues.
I'd also be curious if anyone else has dealt with this and what their solutions were. I'm prepared to go in and manually edit/rename all the .cfg files and the .png/.cfg that they point to, but that's quite an undertaking. Any information/help is appreciated.

@mrmadcatz Yeah, I really only used bezel project for arcade (and not yet on my current build), but here is what I noticed (from memory). It seems like they only have a single version of the bezel, so if you are using a variant of some sort, you will need to mod the files it produces yourself. It has been a while, but I think you can just rename the main cfg file, or if you really want to rename the bezel asset itself (you would then need to edit the cfg file to match). I kept a mapped list of bezel file assets to variants and wrote a script to do the hack myself. It was kind of a pain because if I was using a japanese variant, the bezel project would probably have the english rom, so I would have to do a massive amount of manual recon (looking through game db's to identify variants, etc) to build those mappings. Also, I was unable to get to 100% coverage either on stuff and I was never really sure if I just coudn't nail it with manual recon, or if the bezel asset just doesn't exist in the bezel project.
I stopped, because it was a pain in the a... and I was always pissed I couldn't hit 100% coverage, lol. Good luck with your labor of love.
There is no no-intro standard for arcade roms...is there?

@mitu Lol, this is the way. Thank you so much. Feel so dumb for not thinking to make an issue in GitHub. I appreciate you as always, mitu!
Contributions to the project are always appreciated, so if you would like to support us with a donation you can do so here.
