      Greeetings all!
Thank you for the opportunity to ask questions on this forum. I am having problems getting my retropie to create the files necessary to add roms to my system.

      1. I formatted my 16 GB usb drive fat32
      2. I created a folder on the usb stick called retropie-mount
      3. I turned on usb rom services in retropie
      4. I restarted my pi
      5. I inserted the usb drive into the pi and the light on the usb stick blinked once
      6. left it in the usb slot for at least 10 minutes then returned it to the windows pc.
      7. nothing was in the folder....?
      8. I then ran the basic install from retropie
      9. I then ran the update from retropie
      10. I then ran the update retropie-setup script
      11. restarted my pi
      12. Then repeated steps 4 - 7
What could be wrong? Please help I am at my wit's end....
        Thank you
        sincerely
        Brian K

Try to uninstall and reinstall the usbromservice and try again. Do not change the settings in usbromservice this time. I hope it works.
