New install won't connect to wifi
-
I just received a brand new Pi 4 B in the mail and was excited to get a Retropie working.
I used the Raspberry Pi Imager software to create my image. I used the CRTL+Shift+X to update the options, including adding my wifi credentials to the image. I wrote the image and then plugged it in to my Pi.
After waiting for quite some time, I tried to find it via the Router "attached devices" and using "Angry IP scanner". It's not there. It's just not connecting. I re-imaged a couple of times, double and triple checking the SSID and password.
I have several other Pi's in the house - 2 running Octopi and one running PiHole. Those setups were pretty straight forward. this is my first Pi 4, so maybe I am missing a step? Some help would be appreciated.

@bomber1712 Few things that you can try :
- Try to restart your router
- Check that are you using the latest version of Pi imager.
- Add your wifi info after the RetroPie boot (wifi country, username, password) and not from Pi imager.

@windg I tried all of the above. Still nothing. I even re-flashed using Etcher instead of Imager. No dice. I'm just stumped.

I decided to connect via ethernet, updated wifi settings, restarted and now I am connected. Thanks!
