There are certain titles where saving right before major decision points and restarting after an unfavorable outcome are desperately needed.

Looking for a simple solution on how to do this.

I'm using Rclone so whenever a game is loaded or closed, the save file is synced to my Google Drive account.

Since hardcore mode in Retroachievements doesn't allow save states, looking for any ideas on what to do here.

      Cheers. :)

I am avoiding save states, i have see issues with game crashes and glitches in various emulators. I prefer the in game mechanism.
If i want back up the saves, i am using a usb stick and file manager to copy the critical files.

I have an Android device so I guess I could just FTP into the Pi and reload saves this way.

Was hoping for an easier solution though.

Perhaps an easy script or something that could do it all for me.
