I'm a Raspberry Pi beginner and I've been looking for something just like your Powerblock! I'm about to order from the Pi Hut but I would appreciate your help. Can you please tell me exactly what I need in order to have an illuminated button or switch connected to the Powerblock? For example, would either of these two illuminated buttons work with it?

If so, do I need any specific wires or resistors to connect them safely to the block?

I know this is a pretty old post, but I am at least now, so that it can be of any help in the future:

The buttons should work with the PowerBlock! Also the PowerBlock already comes with a resistor on the LED signal line so that you should be able to directly connect the LED pins with the corresponding LED pins of the button.
