I can't transfer saved game from Armored Core to expansions

Hi,
I can't transfer saved game from Armored Core to expansions. I have enabled the shared memory card function in the menu of both games and I'm at a loss. Any suggestions?

quick menu > core options > system > enable second memory card (shared)

This should create a file in your psx romdir called pcsx-card2.mcd for the shared second memory card. Are you saving and loading to Slot 2?

@sleve_mcdichael Yes, to all. I have enabled it in both games and have made several saves in "slot 2", yet when I try to load from that slot in the 2 expansion games, no files are detected.

@sleve_mcdichael I manually copied the pcsx-card2.mcd file from the AC 1 folder to the AC:PH folder and that worked.

That's probably the issue: the games shouldn't be in individual subfolders, just in the main psx folder.

Yes it's messy but that's what the front-end is for. You can clean it up some by converting your .cue/.bin files to .chd format; one file per disc, and save some storage space too.
