      Hello.
      Recalbox has this plugin
      https://wiki.recalbox.com/fr/emulators/consoles/nintendo-64/mupen64plus-glide64mk2

      which is very interesting as it can run smoothly some games I cannot run smoothly on RetroPie with any of the provided emulators / plugins. I am using a Pi 4. For instance Perfect Dark runs perfectly, and even upscaled !

      I prefer RetroPie so I would really like to get this plugin on it
      Is there any way to install this plugin on RetroPie ? I I did some research but did not find anything...

      Pi 4
      RetroPie 4.8 built from rpi-imager

        @LLD Looks like it is already considered and specifically disabled for RPi, but otherwise enabled for gl and gles platforms:

        https://github.com/RetroPie/RetroPie-Setup/blob/4c6327745ab7b46de181f89a5634cc7e4321d7e4/scriptmodules/emulators/mupen64plus.sh#L44

        ! isPlatform "rpi" && repos+=('mupen64plus mupen64plus-video-glide64mk2 master')

        I'm not sure why it's disabled, but you could try modifying this line to include it (remove everything up to and including the &&) and find out.

              I think we must add this plugin, if technically it's possible. The performance gain is huge even for RPi3.

                    I have few days that i am modifying the script to enable Mk2 plugin but without luck so far.
                    I like to ask, plugin is disable due to limitation of Pi OS Buster ? Thanks.
