To add Amiga support, I did the following:

      • I placed several WHDLoad .lha files in /home/pi/RetroPie/roms/amiga/

      • I put the kickstart files from Amiga Forever into /home/pi/RetroPie/BIOS/amiga
        '

      • Restarted emulators (and when that failed, I restarted the system)

Amiga does not appear in the menu along with my other systems.

      Is there something I'm missing?

I have a Pi 3 B+ and RetroPie works fine with Arcade and SuperNES (the only other two I've tried)

Amiga emulators are not installed in the base image, did you install any of the Amiga emulators ?

That was it. I had to install Amiberry. Now it appears and should work. Thanks!
