Just upgraded from 3.6 to 3.7 on my RPi3. Now everytime I try to register and connect Bluetooth Device, it freezes, I get a flashing cursor, bottom left?

Is there a way to disable the internal Bluetooth and use an external one? Any help appreciated.

@Stylust Bluetooth has a known bug on the pi3. We're waiting for an update. One thing that may help is to unpair and repair the controller again from the raspi-config menu

@FreakyBigFoot I'll try that, then I'll try a clean install.

@Stylust save yourself the trouble of the clean install, it is a known issue. So for now we will have to wait.

I did a clean install on a spare 64Gb card, and Bluetooth setup will now register an 8bitdo NES 30 Pro, but will not connect, I'll try a PS3 controller later.

I have been able to get the 8bitdo NES 30 Pro to register and connect to the RPi3 (internal Bluetooth) with power and R1 on Retropie 3.7. I had to register and unregister a few times before it would pair.
