Hello! I have recently purchased and received a 5 inch screen from Waveshare, which I am powering through GPIO pins on my Pi4. Due to the configuration of this screen in relativity to the Pi, there is a crevasse between the back of the screen and the top of the Pi. Before I model and print a case for the screen and Pi, I want to add a small, temperature controlled fan somewhere to push cold air into the crevasse and expel hot air. Due to the screen taking most of the GPIO pins, I cannot simply add a fan to the GPIO, and need a cooling solution that doesn't use the GPIO. Because this is in a handheld console, keeping the solution small is ideal for the project. I am planning on releasing this project as a beginners tutorial, and therefore I would like to not have to solder, though I can if necessary. (I am also running RetroPi 4.8, if that is useful).

My main question: Can I somehow power a small, temperature controlled fan to get heat out of my system, ideally without soldering or a bulky solution? Thank you for your help in advance!
