      Hey there!
I'm making Raspberry Pi 4 based console, that runs RetroPie (4.7 or 4.8, I don't really remember). There is a main display using MIPI DSI interface to get image from Raspberry Pi.

I wanted for the DSI screen to blank when there is a screen connection to HDMI ports detected and for the EmulationStation to appear on HDMI screen.

I couldn't find a way, so I tried mirroring the image to the HDMI from DSI. That didn't work either.

      Anything you can recommend?
      Thanks in advance, Alex.

Without a desktop environment (which RetroPie doesn't use nor support on a Raspberry PI) I don't think this is possible.
