      This dialogue box pops up before entering any game.
      I just press a button and it clears.
      Completely new to Retropie and learning slowly.

          Sorry, yes my question was, how do I stop this appearing.
          I am trying b to set this up for grand children and want to make operation as simple as possible.
          There will expect to select a game and it just starts.

            Sure, no problem. Solution is in the link to the docs I posted earlier - you can disable the launch menu from the runcommand configuration options.
