How to replicate the problem: play a psx game.Hey all,
I'm using RetroPie on a Pi 5. Every single consol works great, including PS2 except the Play Station 1 consol. The sound is choppy for every game.
I have tried 3 different emulators and changed multiple settings including the resolution. I also have a folder full of bios files. How can I fix this?
-
i try to reproduce the issue but it wasn't possible, all psx games are working fine with beetle-psx, lr-swanstation, lr-pcsx-rearned.
How do you install RetroPie? -
@abj It was installed from rasp pi imager.
-
So, you did a manual installation of RetroPie on top of Bookworm Lite?
Choose from runcommand menu, to start the game with verbose logging enable and add here the runncommand.log file.

No i got a prebuilt Image. And then updated it. The forum will not let me upload the file itself. Here is a copy and paste of the file.

This doesn't seem to be a
runcommand
log file, make sure you've read the doc page and get the right file. Use pastebin.com for large log files.Running on anything than the Lite version (i.e. using the desktop) is not supported by RetroPie. Also, if this is a pre-built image and not a manual install, that's not supported here - ask the author of the image.

@mitu ok. I'll download it from here and start over. Can you delete this post?

In the core options, turn off dynamic recompiler and set clock speed to 57.
