Mame Input Menu crisis

After messing around with controls on my USB Joystick and miscommunication, I have seem to forgot what buttons activate the MAME input menu which is a problem.
When I plug my USB Keyboard in and hit TAB or R2. The Menu does NOT show up. How do I reset this setting in this situation?!

Because i don't know what mame emulator you are using. Check RetroPie docs, to see the configuration file path for the emulator you are using.Then you can delete or modify the file: https://retropie.org.uk/docs/MAME/
