Its about 500MB so a fairly big file, are you cabled or wireless?
If you download it with your browser, you could try FTPing it across locally instead.

Hi @Floob I did what you suggested and downloaded it manually then copied it over. It worked great since you've corrected the permission issues for v4.0

I'm connecting using wireless and am having few power issues, so I'll try again wired and with my official power adaptor when I receive it hopefully today.

Huge thumbs up for the arcade overlay work you've done. They look fantastic. I spent hours last night playing with them and adding the generic one to a few games. Just can't get wonder boy to fill the screen properly yet, looks too small.

Ok this is just strange now.
            I've tried:
            New official powersupply
            Wireless
            Wired
SD card in a previously working RaspberryPi 2
I can pull the source archives and anything else from other repos, just not the release zip files

@Ekstreme Maybe its related to the large size of the single file whereas the others are many small files?
I really need to re-write the tool so that no image assets are included, and they are called when needed.

                Hello experts.
Dont know if I should make a new topic, but I´ll try here first.
Sorry to dig up an old post btw.
I get all of my games slightly to the right,
so 1/3 of the screen is off centre from the overlays/bezels. I belive the issue could be that I have edited the boot/config txt hdmi mode to suit an old vga pc monitor.
(So I have the wrong video mode..?)
And now I´m on a 48" 4k screen. Problem is, my Pi is built in to a old Snes, and Im to lazy to dismantle it again. Can I edit config.txt without removeing the sd-card?
Or even better, can I change the X/Y aspect in one single Retroarch.cfg or maybe
                through the GUI Configuration Editor?
Im on Retropie 4.x, the VideoManager version I used was called Master in filename..
Any help appreciated, in advance thanks!

It sounds as though you may be applying settings for a 1080p setup, but dont have a 1080p output.
Please try on a TV that has 1080p settings.

The overlays are set to 1080p so will have issues if you try them on 4k I would presume.
You can tweak the video output in the system specific retroarch.cfg files.

@Floob Yes, thats my problem I would assume as well.
Was hopeing for some type of "centre-everything" idiot proof solution.
Silly me thought the Raspberry puts out 1080p so my tv should adapt to that, being 16:9 ratio and all.. :(
But will probably have to tweak the aspect ratios and X & Y settings..
(for arcade I only use the Arcade folder and mostly lr-FBA-next, so those settings vill take its toll on me), but atleast thanks to your program everything is where it needs to be.
Much appreciated for a computer invalido..

@Dipkid Maybe there is an option on your 4k TV to output in 1080p?

Or maybe it would be easier just to apply the crt-pi shader, that way you dont have to worry about fitting in a bezel overlay.

@Floob yeah i'v always used the crt pi shader, love it. but all those overlays, they're so.. cosy! Nostalgia is one helluva drug.
