I have a bit of a unique question and have not been able to figure it out myself. I have a custom built arcade controller panel with a paradise arcade PCB to USB connection connecting it to a raspberry pi three. The control panel is of course, separated out into two sections so that two people can sit at the machine and play together. When I start up retro pie it shows only as one controller and I don't have an option to set up a second controller. Has anyone ever dealt with this sort of situation and can I separate the single control panel buttons out into two different players. Please let me know if that doesn't make sense and if you need any more information on my setup.

Is your panel built for 2 players, but detected just as one ? Maybe re-configuring it like this can help.

Thank you for that info. I did stumble upon the correct settings in Retroarch. I believe this is working now. I will confirm back here in a bit just to let you know.

            I FIGURED IT OUT :)

I just had to do some special config in the tetrarch controller settings and then make sure to save that config file so it would be persistent after reboot. It is working now.
