It seems that whenever I hook a Retro Pi up to a TV the games run super fast. So fast that you really can't play a game. About 6 months ago this happened and I was able to figure out how to slow it down but I forgot how to do it and cannot replicate.

I'm running retropie on a Raspberry Pi 4. It runs fine when it is hooked to a computer monitor and is only super fast when it's connected to a TV. I've changed the CPU Governor but that does nothing to slow it down.

Has anyone experienced this and knows how to fix it?

Please add the info requested in https://retropie.org.uk/forum/topic/3/read-this-first to the topic. A verbose log (assuming the emulator you're using is RetroArch) may be of help.
