      Hi,

      During the process to try to run aethersx2 on my Pi5 , I have reinstalled all my core and dependency packages. Now, the only problem I have is the gamelist speed of loading. Before, I was able to jump from a game to another before videos loading (no delay). Now, i have to wait every loading and it goes to 60 fps to 10 fps for each video. It takes 3 to second per game for the scrolldown process.

      Is there a paramater somewhere to correct this. The VRAM in Emulationstation doesn't affect this and I don't have any problem with the theme itself showing the consoles|systems.

      Thanks

        Could it be the snap delay in emulationstation ?

        How can I set it in Retropie?

          @DTEAM Have you checked the weight of your scrapped images? if they're too heavy it affects the scrolling, if so there are free online programs to reduce image weight, Cheers

            @burningblue

            It's not the image loading time but the video loading time. It was working fine before I updated all my core and dependency packages. I don't know what happened

              I found a solution . I fixed the problem by changing the video delay in the cygnus blue flames theme itself.

                     <video name="md_video">
                         <origin>0.5 0.5</origin>
                          <pos>0.72 0.65</pos>
                          <maxSize>0.55 0.55</maxSize>
                          <delay>0.4</delay>
                          <default>./../images/static.mp4</default>
                          <showSnapshotNoVideo>true</showSnapshotNoVideo>
                          <showSnapshotDelay>false</showSnapshotDelay>
              			<zIndex>30</zIndex>
                      </video>

              It was at 0.01 and I did a test with 0.4 and I see a major improuvent. I'll do more test to find the sweet spot. I'm not ready to change it on GitHub. Maybe it's applicable for other problematic themes.

                0.3 seems to be the sweet spot. I did the change on GitHub
