What has happened to some devs on this site ? mitu has been missing for days..dankcushions gone forever.. other important figures disappeared. Herb gone for years..Buzz once in a blue moon..Has or is the Retropie scene slowly fading away ?

I believe some of the reasons for someone to step away from a difficult project like this are real-life situations, lack of free time, and loss of interest. I wish the best to everyone involved in this project, nothing lasts forever.

@ByteThis I'm here most days. Removing spam and managing the forum.

But we all have things like jobs and families.

So no new publicly posted builds for <=Pi4 in almost 3 years and nothing official on the Pi5. Am I missing something or is there no development?

@BuZz I greatly appreciate the support RetroPie has received, but it feels somewhat abandoned as many have shifted to other projects like Batocera. Many contributions, such as improving EmulationStation's support for multiple languages, were not accepted. This, along with the absence of a Discord server, has led to frustration. I understand the project’s focus, but these issues have made it harder to continue contributing. No offense intended."
