I am using dolphin-emu on the Pi 5 which works really well except for one slightly annoying thing.

I like to use different controllers for different games and there isn't a way I can find to have Dolphin auto detect a controller without having to go back into the Dolphin config screen and tell it which controller I want to use.

This gets annoying because in order to go to the config screen on the Pi 5 I have to load up a different version of dolphin-emu to configure the emulator, choose the controller, exit out of that version of Dolphin and then load up the game.

Is there any way to skip the extra steps and have dolphin automatically use the current controller that is connected?

Not an auto select but when setting up controllers you can use the OR function | and setup multiple controllers that way. So unless I'm doing 2 player I can just use any of the controllers I might use as player 1
