      Retropi imager is making my 128 GB SD card to 300 GB and it becomes unusable. I tried different sd cards and they all end up as 300gb. what is going on?

        You mean Raspberry Pi Imager ?
        Can you explain in more detail what you're doing and what's not working according to your expectation ? It's not quite clear how a SD card can 'grow' from 128Gb to 300Gb. Does this have anything to do with RetroPie or is just a Raspberry Pi Imager related question ?
