Play! PS2 emulator though and ideas discussion

Hello everyone,
I've seen a lot of fuss regarding aetherSX2 and playing PS2 games on an RPI5, but I've heard about this Play! https://purei.org/) PS2 emulator that supposably supports ARM hardware.
Has anyone have any experience running this on a pi or other ARM Based pc?

I saw some tests with this emulator almost a year ago on a different distro, and the results weren't very good.

I tried to compile it on my Pi 5 but no matter what flags I used, I wasn't able to even get it to load. Waiting for an answer from the devs. It could be great to have another PS2 emulator with active development.

@dult-np ok I actually managed to compile but no rom would go past a black screen unfortunately. I guess we'll still have to stick to AetherSX2
