I just installed a fresh version of RetroPie on my desktop and have been trying to get my Gamecube ROMs loaded and running. However, it seems like Dolphin (both dolphin and lr-dolphin) won't download and run as intended. When I try to install it, it says it fails to install a dependency (despite that dependency being installed). The dependency in question is libqt6svg6-dev. When attempting to reinstall it, my terminal says that qt6-svg-dev is up to date. My PC specs are attached and I'm running RPie 4.8.

Can you post the install log - with the error - from $HOME/RetroPie-Setup/logs on pastebin.com ?
The qt6-svg-dev package could be problematic since is named differently depending on the distro (Ubuntu/Debian) and release.

What's the upstream distribution upon which Linux Mint 22 Cinnamon is based ? Is it Ubuntu or Debian (and which version) ?

@mitu https://pastebin.com/V6g5gWu8 Here you go! Mint 22 is supposed to be based on Ubuntu 24.

Can you post the output of the following command:

                lsb_release -s -i -d -r -c

EDIT: can you try the following patch for RetroPie-Setup to see if it fixes the detection of the Ubuntu version ?

This is the output I get when typing lsb_release. I just updated the Retropie-Setup script, but IDK how to apply the patch you sent.

Ok, then wait until https://github.com/RetroPie/RetroPie-Setup/pull/4020 is merged and re-try the installation after you update RetroPie-Setup. (edit) Well, update now and try again.
