      Hi

      I have searched the forum and I can't seem to find an answer to my question. It looks like some others also have communicated with retropie through an app but not like this.

      What I want to do is to build an arcade machine with raspberry PI 4 and retropie. But instead of using coins I want to develop an app (probably with help since I'm new to programming) that can "activate" the arcade machine and give a credit, just like the coin would do.
      Obviously this is possible some how but does anyone know how to tackle it the best way?
      Is there some kind of feature in retropie that support this (maybe with some modification)?
      Which programming language is the best to use?

      Maybe someone can point me in a direction to search.🙏
