I recently setup this screen with my Raspberry Pi 4B. When I use the micro SD that has the standard Raspberry Pi OS it works perfectly fine, but when i use the one with RetroPie the screen doesn't work. It turns on and does that pixel cycling? (not sure what to call it but the screen flickers a bit and has lines running through).

I hooked it up to my computer monitor and it worked fine so not an issue with the SD card. Since the screen also works with Pi OS it isn't the HDMI adapter or port. I have also tried using the screen as just a monitor (connected by HDMI and its own power supply) and fully connected to the Raspberry Pi as a touch screen.

Any advice on what to do to troubleshoot this?
